DELIVERY

We ship all parcels using DPD Next Day Delivery to ensure products arrive quickly and in the best possible condition.

Orders are typically processed within 2 working days, and parcels are dispatched Monday to Thursday only. This is to prevent parcels from being held in courier depots over the weekend, which may affect the quality of perishable goods.

🧊 Perishable items are packed in thermal bags with frozen gel packs to help keep products cool and fresh during transport. However, they must still be refrigerated immediately upon delivery.

Once your parcel is dispatched, you will receive a DPD tracking number by email or SMS. This provides:

  • Live tracking
  • A 1-hour delivery window
  • Options to manage delivery (e.g. change address, deliver to neighbour or pickup point, or select a safe place)

Delivery is considered complete once we, or our authorised courier, deliver the Products to the address you provided.

If no one is available to accept delivery:

  • The parcel may be left in a location the courier deems reasonably safe (e.g. doorstep, porch, or shed)
  • Or delivered to a neighbour within close proximity (e.g. same building, opposite, or next door)

⚠️ While thermal packaging provides temporary protection, Tatry is not responsible for spoilage if perishable goods are not stored correctly or the parcel is left unattended for too long.

To prevent issues, we recommend:

  • Using an alternative address where someone is available (e.g. your workplace)
  • Choosing a neighbour who can receive the parcel
  • Redirecting the parcel using the DPD tracking options

If delivery cannot be completed using the available methods, you will be in default of acceptance, and no re-delivery will be attempted. You will be responsible for any associated loss or cost.

Tatry’s delivery obligation ends once the parcel is delivered to the delivery address, neighbour, pickup point, or safe place. If the parcel is stolen, damaged, or spoiled due to missed delivery or improper storage, we are not liable, but may offer compensation at our discretion.

Tatry reserves the right to change your delivery date with prior notice.

CONSUMER RIGHTS

Many of our Products are fresh and perishable, and therefore excluded from the standard 14-day consumer cancellation rights.

According to Regulation 27(1)(c) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the right to withdraw from a purchase does not apply to goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, such as chilled or bakery items.

As such, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds for perishable items if you change your mind after ordering.

If your order arrives damaged, spoiled, or incorrect, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and provide clear photos of the issue. We will assess the situation and may offer a refund, replacement, or store credit at our discretion.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY & LIABILITY

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure:

  • Someone is available to receive the delivery on the scheduled date
  • Perishable items are refrigerated immediately upon receipt
  • Delivery instructions (e.g. safe place, alternative address, neighbour) are suitable and secure

After dispatch, you will receive a DPD tracking number with:

  • Live tracking
  • A 1-hour time slot
  • Options to manage or redirect the delivery

Tatry is not responsible for:

  • Parcels that are lost, stolen, or damaged after delivery
  • Spoiled goods due to delays in collection, missed deliveries, or incorrect storage
  • Unsafe or incomplete delivery instructions provided by the customer

By placing an order, you agree that risk and responsibility transfer to you once the parcel has been delivered to the provided address, safe place, neighbour, or DPD pickup point.

All compensation or refunds are provided entirely at Tatry’s discretion.
